Step-by-step learning

Know exactly what to learn and when to learn it.

Lessons designed to take you from where you are to drawing the art you imagined.

Step-by-step lessons

Each lesson builds on the one before, walking you through the techniques and skills you need. So you stop guessing what to work on next.

Detailed video instruction

Each lesson shows you how every technique is drawn, from start to finish. Plus drawing exercises after every video to practice each skill yourself.

Practice resources

Spend your practice time drawing, not hunting for materials. Each lesson has the exact references, brushes, and 3D models you need, ready the moment you open it.

Track your progress

Stay consistent and motivated by always seeing your progress. Watch yourself improve lesson by lesson, with a clear view of how far you've come and what's next.

The biggest change in my art came after I joined Doodle Warriors.

Live learning

Finally see what's holding your art back.

You can't always spot your own mistakes. That's why every week we go live: watch real critiques, learn what to look for, and draw alongside Angel on the skills you want to build.

1

Weekly Portrait Workshops

Get Angel's eyes on your own portrait.

Angel goes live to review real portraits from members. Submit yours, and watch him break it down, showing the choices he'd make and where to take it next.

It's the closest thing to having him look over your shoulder while you draw.

2

Weekly Drawing Challenges

Watching won't make you better. Drawing will.

Each challenge takes on a new subject the members vote for, drawn alongside Angel in real time.

As you follow his approach, you catch the bad habits you didn't know you had and fix them as you go.

You finish with real progress, the kind that only comes from actually drawing.

3

Weekly Feedback Sessions

Stop guessing. Start improving.

You finish a piece and wonder: is it any good? Am I getting better? On your own, there's no way to tell.

Every week, bring whatever you're working on, your own art or a course exercise, for live feedback that shows you what's working and what to focus on. And it's not only your own work you learn from.

Watching someone else get feedback teaches you just as much, sometimes more.

Community

Stay consistent, even when motivation runs out.

Inside Doodle Warriors, you’re part of a private community of artists. People at your level. People ahead of you. People behind you.

Whether you need a fresh pair of eyes, a friendly push, or someone who just gets it, our members are here for each other, bonded by a shared love of art.

It’s the difference between one more promise to yourself that you’ll get to it eventually, and accountability buddies who make sure you actually do.

Real self-taught artists. Real transformations.

Last year I decided to take @angelganev ‘s courses cuz I realized I needed some more structure in my studies.

Definitely the best art decision I’ve made.

I’m so happy that last year I decided to join this amazing community and improve my art with them!

This decision not only changed my art, but my life along with it! It really was one of my best decisions!

To take Doodle Warriors courses is the best choice I’ve ever made for my art skills.

I couldn’t have achieved this result in only 11 months without the course and weekly feedback from coaches and advanced students! 💖

I had experience drawing with a pencil, but I had never tried digital art before.

I really appreciate how everything started from the beginning and it kept getting gradually harder, without it being overwhelming.

It also gave me a goal to work towards and that helped me to stay consistent with my practice.

Everything else I’ve watched, didn’t provide me with structured material, so I didn’t know what I had to practice.

Doodle Warriors provided me with a structured plan, and I knew what had to practice next.

This gave me the motivation to keep drawing and improving.

A year ago, my first portrait attempt was a total failure. I tried different courses and techniques until I found Angel and signed up to Doodle Warriors. Ten months of deep practice later — I’m a happy artist who can paint pretty much anything. Angel put his soul into this course, making it as easy to understand and as fun as possible. Shout out to the amazing coaches too!

This was a huge milestone for me! I had been studying  with Doodlewarriros by Angel Ganev.

I really loved the style this course uses to teach and really vibed with it.

Anyways through a ton of blood and tears 😭 I finished the program and this was my final piece for the course!

Thanks so much to all those that have helped along the way and all the other warriors out there! 💪 Special thanks to all the coaches for all the support!

I started the @doodlewarriors course around 11 months ago and it has been a life changing experience and probably the best decision I’ve ever made!

I want to thank @angelganev for all the feedback and support, and everyone that helped and encouraged me along the way 🌸

I’m looking forward to improving my art even further.

Learning from Angel has transformed my art journey.

I started with no experience and almost quit, but his guidance helped me grow more confident with every piece.

I’m so glad I can look back at that now and tackle the studies I do today, as it’s been such an enjoyable journey and great to be part of such a creative and supportive community 🥰

Two and a half years ago I decided to embark on a journey of learning digital art. I had no idea how hard it was going to be, had no expectations.

After watching a few YouTube videos and getting more confused than anything, I didn’t know what to do.

By chance I stumbled across Angel Ganev advertising a digital portrait course, what caught my attention was how well structured it was.

I didn’t overthought it and just went for it, and the rest well.. my entire journey is recorded on this account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work for my level?

Yes, whatever your level. The courses start from the very basics, so complete beginners aren't left behind. And if you've been drawing for years, most members are surprised how much they pick up, the techniques and fundamentals they never quite nailed on their own. Jump in anywhere and go at your own pace.

I'm not sure I'm good enough to join.

There's no bar to clear. All you need is the willingness to actually draw. The membership puts the lessons, live feedback, and a community of artists around you, so you improve from wherever you're starting. Plenty of members felt the same way before they joined, then surprised themselves a few weeks in.

Do you only teach portraits?

Portraits are the main focus right now, and it's where the library goes deepest: construction, anatomy, color, and light. Those are the fundamentals behind any drawing, not just faces.

So the skills carry into figures and whatever else you like to draw, and we're always adding more to the library. You build a foundation that travels, then take it wherever your art goes.

What software or tools do I need?

Whatever you've already got. The lessons work with any app, Procreate, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, or even pencil and paper. You don't need an expensive tablet or a specific program to follow along. New to digital and not sure what to use? We'll point you in the right direction.

What if I don't have much time?

That's exactly why it's built to fit around your life. The lessons are self-paced, so you can do five minutes or an hour, whenever you get the chance. Nothing expires, and there's no schedule to keep up with. Even a little practice each week adds up faster than you'd think.

How often are the live sessions, and what if I can't make them?

There's something live almost every week, feedback sessions, portrait workshops, and drawing challenges with Angel. Can't make it live? Every session is recorded and added to the library, so you can watch any of them whenever it suits you. You never miss out.

Will I get feedback on my own work?

You can submit your work to the weekly sessions, where our coaches review real student pieces live. Not every piece gets covered each week, but you learn a huge amount from watching the critiques, the same fixes tend to come up in everyone's work. And the community is always there for a quick second opinion.

What makes Doodle Warriors different from other art courses?

Most art courses hand you a folder of videos and leave you to figure it out on your own. Doodle Warriors puts three things together in one place: structured courses that show you what to learn and when, weekly live sessions where you watch real work get critiqued, and a community that keeps you drawing. That combination is what turns watching into real progress.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

You add a card to start, but you won't be charged for 7 days. Explore everything, the courses, the live sessions, the community, and if it's not for you, cancel before day 7 and you won't pay a cent. If you stay, it's $29/month or $228/year, and you can cancel anytime.

What if I join and decide it's not for me?

No problem, and no hard feelings. Cancel anytime during your 7-day trial and you won't be charged. And if you stay on, then change your mind later, you've still got a 30-day money-back guarantee. Just email our team and we'll sort it out.
